Artist's Comments"My feet scratched the pavement as I reacted and pivoted towards the nearest corner, the way out of that place. I knew I shouldn’t have gone in there, I knew it, I knew it. The rubber of my shoes scraped the pavement as I ran down the alleyway, nearly tripping over garbage cans and cardboard boxes, the cold air, thundering in my ears as my feet clapped the hard ground. I kept looking back, panicked, wide-eyed and panting frantically, at the man running after me from the alley. |
