and for the past month i've been doing something after every day at school.
no time for art, sadly.

tonight will be the first night i actually get to go home and relax afterschool.

i don't know. i don't get asked much, really. but the most annoying thing i get a lot is that photography is not art and an artist is not a real job and it is and gah i could write about this for hours and i'm not going to.

oh. i answered this question up there. well, another annoying thing is when people judge the artistic side of a photo, saying things like "model should be centered", "sun should be in photo", and other things that would make no sense at all if you actually knew what you were talking about.

yes, definitely and absolutely.
cliché scene kid hearts and tape cassettes and retro sunglasses really are putting good artists out of business, and i've thought of just leaving deviantart and trying to make the internet a less important side of my photography. i find it gets distracting and really tugs at your style and morphs it into something you don't want it to be, but you feel you need it to be. i'm trying to find a happy balance without leaving deviantart for this. who knows, maybe that's why i haven't been active much in the community lately.

just thought i'd let you all know
i bought myself a canon 50 mm f/1.8 II lens.
yup. finally, after like a year of saving up.
